Friday Skywatch

I am not sure where "Friday Skywatch" came from, but I have seen it on other blogs. I have to chuckle (no disrespect intended) because I watch the sky all the time! I love the sky and the ever changing landscape it provides.
Today, while I was on my walk, the sky was very unusual. I could see even texture like scratches or brush strokes across the clouds. This photo was taken with an iPhone and I am surprised at how well it came out, considering.
I hope everyone has a fabulous Friday and a great weekend! I'm not going to blog over the weekend; I've done a lot of writing this week, but who knows? ;)

Many of the birds are moving on for the winter already! I could take pictures of the hungry house finches, of which there are many :) They are eating like there's no tomorrow! I have 5 chickadees that are staying around so far, but they are much too fast for my camera skills. I hope you are getting lots of birding in where you are :) thanks for stopping by!

Oh yes, Ruth! I can't keep my eyes off the sky because "The heavens declare the glory of God...!" Have a great weekend!

I think the "Friday Skywatch" became a weekly meme of sorts to help people have things to post each day of the week. There is actually a blog for it where people who post can put their photos there as well.

Your sky is beautiful Diane! I'm like you... who could NOT notice the glory? :c)
