Snow in Sequim? In February?

In the beginning ... there was this beautiful morning!
I was happy to see that the sun now reaches the feeder station
and the birds looked happy out there.
But...this afternoon! Sequim has had rain, hail and SNOW! ! !

THEN...

While I was catching snow photos :)
the Varied Thrush returned! ! !
You never know what a day will bring forth!

Hi Diane, I've never seen that thrush before. What a gorgeous bird... Is he a regular????

Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Betsy, The thrush is not an everyday regular, but has been here a few times now. Hopefully, he'll get to liking it and bring his friends. I am told that it is irregular for him to be here at all :)

We must have traded weather. At midnight here in Minnesota it was +43 F with RAIN.
Love the Varied Thrush!

Thank you, Ivars! Glad Minnesota has a reprieve :) I like the Varied Thrush too. Because it is rare, it is that much more special.
I guess that's the case with most everything :)
