New Year's Eve Moon - 2009

I came back from town this evening and was taken by the moon. I took a photo with my iPhone and was impressed with it, when I thought, "What kind of photo would my Canon take?"
So, I couldn't resist - I went in, got it, walked across the road (I'm sure the people in the passing cars wondered what this crazy lady was doing out in the dark with her camera!) and used the mailbox like a tri-pod :) I was SO excited to see the different kinds of shots I could get! I thought, "What a splendid way to conclude 2009!"
