Its another winter/spring day in Sequim. We've had pouring rain, sunshine and now snow! But the best thing is a flock of trumpeter swans in the field across the road from my house.
God knows how special they are to me! I couldn't get very good shots with the weather, time of day and my little camera - but I did save the memory.

That is very special. How are the birs doing at the feeders?
Blessings,Ruth
Memories are precious.
I can just picture how magical they must have sounded!
Hi Ruth, the birds at the feeders are the same - lots of pine siskins, a few juncos and finches. Thanks for asking :)
Yes, Lynne - memories are precious - may you have lots of them!
Kallen, I didn't hear them - I had driven my van out to the road, because of the weather and so the sound of traffic was all that I heard. If I see them again, I'm going to go out into the field - when its not so soppy!
Memories are often better than photos -- the subject is in focus -- the colors are more than true -- the framing is perfect -- and you can find them when needed!
That's great and so very true, Ivars. Thank you for the good word!
Wow! A flock of Trumpeter Swans! That must have been spectacular...
(found your site through Kallen's, very nice!!!). I especially like that little chickadee in the upper right corner!
How neat to see so many just across the way Diane. :c) Hope all is well with you and yours.
I've been wanting to find the opportunity to photograph these beautiful birds when they inhabit the Snohomish valley below my house, but never seem to get the chance. So glad you were able to capture this, regardless of the conditions.
